Hey. It looks amazing!
What are the differences in the makeup and costuming between this and the Grimm Fae look?

There’s a version of the Faust / Mephistopheles story by Christopher Marlowe, Shakespeare’s contemporary. There’s a scene where Faust conjures up Helen of Troy to be his lover, and distract him for a while from his impending damnation.

There’s a movie version of the play staring Richard Burton that was made in the 1960’s. The critics slammed it, but I was thoroughly engrossed. Elizabeth Taylor had an uncredited role as Helen (the critics weren’t kind to her, either.) She was past what would’ve the ideal age to play Helen, but it was Liz Taylor, and she still glowed…at least I thought so.

Anyhow…it’s the last scene of the play; a chasm opens at Faust’s feet, with lurid red flames and mist. And who emerges but Helen, clothed in the same shade of red, grinning horribly and cackling evilly. She takes him by the hand and leads him into the chasm as he wails in torment.

I sought for a clip from the movie at Youtube, etc., with out success.

This pic reminds me of that scene; the dark beauty who to love is to imperil one’s life and soul, and to court destruction…who nevertheless weaves a spell of horrid allure.

Am I being too florid?
:D

Awesome shot! I love what you've done to your eyes. You actually look as though you could be a fae of the Unseelie Court. Wonderful job.

Wow...very nice....but i cant help but notice that if your hair was black in this pic, you would really look like Blind Mag from "Repo The Genetic Opera"
